This is why you marry a woman with similar interests and hobbies. The only time I get in trouble going to Cabelas or the range is if I DON’T take my wife.

I agree that it’s important to have similar interests as your significant other, but if GB hadn’t been willing to date me even though I was gun-o-phobic and if I hadn’t been willing to date him even though he was a gun freak, we’d both be missing a lot. Plus, the world would be short me as a pro-gun voter and as a gun blogger.

haha! I get pouty if GB goes to the range or one of the great gun shops we have around here without me. That puppy dog look I give him says it all.

I love guns but I would hate to get one for a present because I am such a fickler about things of the sort. I take so much pride in saving up my money and going to the gun store and filling out all my papers for MY gun. Not a gun I wanted that my husband bought me. But I don’t think that’s how she felt.

I am not sure I’d like a gun as a present either. Although I don’t mind spending someone else’s money on the gun ;), I have small hands and not all of my fingers work like they should so I’d be afraid of getting a gun that would be a paperweight to me.

I hope that guy doesn’t get in too much trouble. I hope he makes it up to her and that she warms up to her present, but from that posting, things didn’t look too hopeful!
