Jim Wilson, D-Tahlequah said the idea of armed citizens roaming the streets with their weapons displayed sends a bad message to the business community. I'm part of the business community. I'd welcome the open carry of guns! Criminals, who probably got their guns illegally, should think twice before trying to rob, rape or harm me when they see that I'm carrying a gun or that other customers may have their guns at hand and are trained to use them.
